Dayo in the Water – Photo Print on Aluminum Dibond

A moment full of movement and precisely because of that one of my favorite pictures of Dayo.

He stands in the water amidst the rocks, completely focused on what is happening in front of him. Around him, water droplets fly through the air, turning a normal moment into something special. Such scenes often arise spontaneously while traveling – and that's exactly what I love about photography.

Dayo is not only our companion on our travels but very often also my subject. What I particularly like about this photo is the mix of tranquility and movement: his focused gaze, the water, the rocks, and the frozen splashes around him.

I only subtly edit my pictures to preserve the mood of the original moment. With this motif, too, I wanted to retain precisely this natural feeling.

As a photo print on matte aluminum Dibond, the picture achieves a high-quality yet natural effect. The wide format particularly enhances the dynamic of the water. For me, it's a motif that brings a small piece of nature, a sense of travel, and the special moments with Dayo home.
