Iceland in autumn feels like entering a different universe. The days grow shorter, the light more intense – and every kilometer reveals a landscape as rugged as it is beautiful. It was precisely at this time that we rediscovered the island with our camper van "Wickie" and our Dayo: waterfalls appearing out of nowhere, mountains with fresh snow, steaming lava fields, black beaches, endless expanses – and again and again moments that left us speechless.

What began as a simple crossing quickly turned into an adventure full of natural forces: a storm on the Norröna, rainbows over the fjords of Seyðisfjörður, lonely roads winding through solidified lava, and magical evenings where the Northern Lights danced above us.

Our journey took us to unforgettable places – from mystical caves and hot springs to coasts where seals rest and waves thunderously break. And in the midst of it all, the three of us: Kirsten, Robin, Dayo, and a camera that captured every single one of these moments.
